La atención a la diversidad y la formación del profesorado de Educación Física

| Nuestra pretensión en esta ponencia es intentar analizar, diferentes cambios que repercuten en el tratamiento de diversidad y en la orientación de la formación del profesorado. Desde este planteamiento, voy a explicar como he estructurado el discurso. En primer lugar, vamos a exponer la visión de la atención a la diversidad en el Manifiesto Mundial de la Federación Internacional de Educación Física. Seguidamente, comentaremos algunos cambios, tales como: la legislación, las expectativas de la sociedad y aumento de exigencias sobre los profesores, la ruptura del consenso social sobre la educación, el cambio de expectativas respecto al sistema educativo, el aumento de las contradicciones en el ejercicio de la docencia, que afectan a la atención a la diversidad y a la formación del profesorado. En segundo lugar, haremos referencia al concepto de la diversidad, describiremos sus manifestaciones; abordaremos, someramente, algunas orientaciones para su tratamiento y finalmente, presentaremos algunas reflexiones sobre la formación del profesorado y la atención a la diversidad. |
In this paper, we try to analize the changes that have an effect on the treatment of diversity and teacher training. Assuming this approach, we are going to explain the way the paper has been structured. First we shall put forward the PE International Federation´s view on the attention to diversity set out in their Global Manifesto. Then, we sahll comment some of the changes, referring to subjects such as: legislation, society´s expectations and the increase of the demands made on teachers, the breaking of social agreement on education, the change of prospects related to the educational system, the increase of contradictions among working teachers that have repercussions on the attention to diversity and teachers´ training. Second, we shall refer to the concept of diversity and describe the way it becomes apparent; thereafter, we shall briefly deal with a few guidelines to tackle this situation; and finally, we shall present some reflections on teachers´ training and attention to diversity. |
