Rasgos prototípicos del voluntariado

| Los valores individualistas tienen un gran peso en la sociedad actual y se les da mayor importancia que a otros aspectos más socializadores. Esta es una de las razones de la creciente necesidad de socialización y de cambio que se está produciendo en la sociedad. Uno de los movimientos que así lo atestiguan es el voluntariado. La investigación se enmarca dentro del proyecto de investigación PI1999-13 del Gobierno Vasco–Eusko Jaurlaritza. Pretende analizar las motivaciones que subyacen al interés por ayudar de aquellas personas voluntarias, y si el grado de madurez personal influye en esta decisión, todo ello tomando como referencia la teoría de los dominios de Turiel. Se comparan dos grupos, uno de voluntarios, y otro de no voluntarios formado por universitarios. |
Today’s society attaches great importance to individualistic values, so they have more weight than some other socializing values. This is one of the reasons of the rising need of socialization and change that is going on in the society. One of the movements that give evidence of this is the volunteerism. The investigation project PI1999-13 by the Bask Government–Eusko Jaurlaritza provides the setting for this research. It comes to analyze the motivations underlying the volunteers’ interest for helping, and if the personal maturity degree has something to do with it, all this settled in the domains’ theory by Turiel. Two groups are compared, first one made of volunteers, and the second one made of college students. |
