| Los buenos modales y las normas de urbanidad varían de una época a otra, de una a otra cultura; en cambio, de acuerdo con Turiel (1983), la distinción entre convención y moralidad es universal. Según nuestros datos sobre cómo se entiende la función social de las formas de saludo, ambas tesis se complementan: las diferencias interindividuales son de carácter tanto evolutivo como cultural. |
Good manners and rules of politeness vary from one period of time to another, from one culture to another; instead, and according to Turiel (1983), the distinction between convention and morality is universal. According to our data about how the social function or forms of greetings is understood, both theories complement each other; the interindividual differences are of both an evolutive and a cultural kind. |
