Plan de acción tutorial en los centros docentes universitarios: el rol del profesor tutor

| La integración de la Universidad española en el Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior conlleva una serie de desafíos en los que un adecuado enfoque debe repercutir en la necesaria mejora de la calidad de la docencia, la investigación y la gestión universitaria. En esta nueva perspectiva la función tutorial debe ocupar un puesto preeminente para poder profundizar, adecuadamente, en la transmisión y creación de los saberes como eje de la actividad docente en el desarrollo personal de los estudiantes y, también, para posibilitar en éstos los procesos de transición académica y profesional. El profesor tutor, en el escenario universitario, debe ayudar a los estudiantes a determinar y diseñar sus objetivos personales, académicos y profesionales. En esta proyección innovadora, el Plan de Acción Tutorial en los centros docentes universitarios puede ser un recurso de gran significado y valor. |
The integration of the Spanish university in the European Higher Education Area entails a series of challenges, which, if an appropriate approach is taken, must lead to a necessary improvement in the quality of teaching, research and university management. In this new innovating approach the tutorial function must occupy a pre-eminent position in order to suitably go deeper into the transmission and creation of knowledge, which should be the axis of the educational activity in students’ personal development and to make possible for them an academic and professional transition. The tutor-teacher in the university scene must help students to determine and to design their academic, personal and professional objectives. In this light the Tutorial Plan of Action at universities can be a meaningful and valuable resource. |
