The Challenge of being a Teacher in the context of European convergence. Pedagogic Education as a necessity

Resumen	Abstract
En este artículo insistimos en la importancia de ser buen profesor en todos los tiempos, analizamos 1. las exigencias que plantea el centrar la actividad docente en el aprendizaje de los alumnos 2. la necesidad de introducir en los centros planificaciones colectivas para elaborar proyectos formativos por especialidades y 3. el énfasis en las tareas formativas frente al modelo transmisivo. Destacamos la importancia y necesidad de la formación pedagógica del profesorado universitario, así como el reconocimiento e incentivación de una buena docencia.	In this article we underline the importance of being a good teacher all the time. We will analyse three demands repeated in the discourse of European convergence: 1. to aim educational activities at pupils’ learning. 2. the need to introduce collective plans for educational projects distributed in specialities. And 3. the emphasis on formative tasks as opposed, to the transmission model. We highlight the need and the relevance of the pedagogical training of university professors, as well as the acknowledgment and incentive of quality teaching
