| En las biografías de Paulo Freire y de su discípulo Millán Santos (generador de los movimientos sociales en la Educación de Personas Adultas en Valladolid, e impulsor de otros), se aprecian algunas coincidencias en las que se produce un paralelismo destacable, como su compromiso social y político, que les supone el destierro o exilio (en algún momento), su vinculación a la Teología de la Liberación, su reflexión y su práctica educativa como medio de transformación social y su necesidad de llevar los sueños a la utopía posible. |
In Pablo Freire and his follower Millán Santos’ biographies you can recognise some similarities. The latter was the father of the social movements in Adult education in Valladolid and the driving force behind others. These coincidences show an obvious parallel in their social and political commitment which leads them to their «retreat» or exile at some point, their link to Liberation Theology, their thoughts and teaching practice as a means of social change and their need to make dreams turn into possible utopia. |
