La depuración política del alumnado de las Escuelas Normales de Barcelona (1939-1941)

| Resumen | Abstract |
|
From the very beginning of the Spanish Civil War, the authorities of the National front started a political purge of the teaching staff. Its aim was to separate from the profession those teachers who were less identified with the ideological basis of the new regime. The purge also reached the students of the Escuelas Normales (Teaching Schools), since the Franco regime authorities considered that the purge should be preventive and, thus, affect to the teachers to come. The political purge of the Escuelas Normales in Barcelona was extremely harsh and, in most cases, superior even to that suffered by the teachers who were active. |
