A critical approach to Art Education means, in a context of a Teaching Education Program, the process of building a conceptual and historical frame to understand and interpretate different perspectives on Art Education. The first step in this process will be to organize a map where different Art Education tendencies are linking to educational and social problems placed in historical contexts. A second step will try to establish a relationship between these tendencies and teachers or students conceptions on Art Education to promote a construction of their consciousnnes. In this paper some considerations to organize the first step of this critical process are presented |
