This paper reports data about mathematical results in both affective and cognitive environments of primary school teacher students, when they begin their studies at the University. We have found that their achievement on cognitive level is very low. On other hand, the current Spanish Educational System allows that some would-be teachers will not study any mathematics along their initial formation years. Because of that we think to have reasons to be worried about the mathematical education of future primary school teachers in Spain |
